Modern monitoring, which Qumak delivers, will ensure 24/7 control of city streets in Mysłowice. Under analysis there will be not only causes of collisions and cases of bad parking, but also particularly dangerous situations such as wrong-way driving or animals appearing on the road. Thanks to entry and exit monitoring, road services will be able to identify registration plates of vehicles participating in events. Moreover, under the constant observation there will also be unusual incidents, e.g. man lying down, package left unattended, or cases of property vandalism.
Qumak will provide also two mobile system points which will help to maintain a high level of safety during mass events and in locations without constant monitoring points. The Company’s responsibilities will also include maintaining uninterrupted operation of devices and analysis of events.
Another delivered by the Company element will be a video wall in a monitoring center located in the new headquarters of Fire Department in Mysłowice. It will be equipped with the most modern hardware, 4 module-connected monitors and 3 additional stands.
– City monitoring is a key factor for maintaining safety in cities. That is why we are particularly proud that we have been chosen by the City Hall of Mysłowice to implement such an important task. This way the appreciation is shown to our competencies in the scope of intelligent systems for cities. For us, this is a next valuable experience in which safety will gain support of the most modern technological solutions – says Tomasz Zygmuntowicz, Member of the Management Board of Qumak S.A. responsible for Sales and Marketing Division.
Installation of 40 cameras of intelligent city monitoring is only the first stage of the project. The city of Mysłowice plans to expand the system to 100 cameras.
