“By winning this important tender we gained the possibility to be a part of big IT project of prestigious and strategic value for the Dolnośląskie Voivodship” – said Jacek Suchenek, member of the Management Board of Qumak S.A., Director of Realizations Division. “Our company takes part also in few undertakings under the patronage of the Ministry of Administration and Digitization of Poland – within the strategy of Polska 2.0 project, aim of which is providing all citizens with an access to modern IT technologies” – J. Suchenek added.
Within the realization of contract the Warsaw company will create a structure of database with information on Dolny Śląsk, including topics related to among others economy, geography, tourism, ecology, preservation of historical monuments, history of the region and archeology. The contract covers also preparation and delivery of updated ortophoto map of the voivodship in resolution of 10 pixels/m and information included in a portal integrated with the content of the ortophoto map.
Within the IT area Qumak will deliver and install essential IT infrastructure with dedicated software for e-DS and will integrate all elements of portal with information systems of other institutions, which share the substantive content for the needs of a platform.
As a platform operator the Warsaw integrator will provide services of maintenance of telecommunication infrastructure, as well as of information content. At the same time will take care of promoting the project and e-DolnySlask portal, and also will prepare and conduct the information-promotion campaign of e-DS.
