During the 7th Forum of Mazovian Development – the most important conference concerning the region’s development – we have been discussing with the representatives of public institutions and businesses the co-operation between cities in the area of Smart City, as well as solutions that are environment-friendly and improve the quality of life of citizens.

In this year’s, a fourteenth edition of the Pearl of Polish Economy ranking, organized by the “Polish Market” magazine, Qumak received a certificate in the category Large Pearls. During the gala taking place at the Royal Castle in Warsaw the award was received by Tomasz Laudy, President of the Management Board of the Warsaw Company.

Qumak gained the last order for the realization of multimedia exhibitions in the Science and Technology Centre in Łódź – EC1. This is the last task within the frames of creating the biggest public educational space in Poland. Value of the whole project is PLN 40 million net.

The implementation of a system of meteorological services AWOS at the Bydgoszcz airport is completed. Thanks to this system conducting aviation operations, even in difficult atmospheric conditions, became safer.

First in Poland energy storage was launched near Puck; it operates in a Local Balancing Zone. This investment was realized by Qumak S.A. for the company Energa – Operator. The system enables storing energy and distributing it when needed. This technology is one of the key elements of construction of modern Smart Grid networks and stands for a real answer to the needs of the Polish electric power system.

Qumak introduced to the market an innovative locomotive simulator – SIMTRAQ a tool for training drivers in a virtual reality. This product was created with the purpose of increasing safety of rail traffic. Thanks to applying several pioneer simulation solutions, which in a realistic way reproduce a situation of driving a train, SIMTRAQ has a chance to mark new standards in training drivers and conducting simulation sessions.
